Living Planet: Boosting solar in Uganda | DW (www.dw.com)

Renewable energies haven’t taken off in Africa in the same way they have in other parts of the world. One reason for that is an influx of substandard products that have damaged consumer trust. A community project in Uganda is trying to rebuild confidence and ensure quality by assembling its own solar panels.

Hope this rebuilds trust on these renewable, environment friendly solutions.
